Globe Risk has had numerous requests to include firearms training in our Close Protection courses. GRI are offering a combined training course composed of a 9 day Close Protection course, this course will give the student a solid working knowledge on how Close Protection operations are planned and implemented and will contain practical drills and exercises. This course will contain Close Protection firearms training with semi automatic pistols, taken from the ACPO UK CP firearms course. This course requires the student to have some experience in handling a pistol. And will enable the student to use a number of different tactics to defend the person they are protecting. During the course duration there is a first aid trauma course specifically designed for working in a Close Protection detail.
The cost of taking these courses separately would exceed $6000. However GRI have negotiated lower cost in accommodation and ammunition which we can pass on to the student. The total cost of this course which includes accommodation, ammunition and all other training equipment is $3,800 per person. Should you not require accommodation the cost is $3000 per person.
The course dates are from the Saturday August 10th 2013 - Sunday August 18th 2013. This is not a 9 – 5 course, the training days are long and you are expected to work under a certain amount of pressure. This is to simulate working on a real Close Protection detail.
