KIDNAP AND RANSOM TRAINING COURSE
All Kidnap and Ransom programs would introduce to the audience what happens to the kidnap victim, during the planning stages before the actual kidnapping, the abduction phase and more importantly, what concurrent activities are taking place whilst the kidnap victim is being held incommunicado.
The moment at which an individual is kidnapped, no matter where that kidnapping may occur, it is a very psychologically traumatic moment. The kidnapped victims will be suddenly transferred form a relaxed and complacent frame of mind to a state of absolute terror. Individuals may react instinctively in a variety of ways to this tremendous transition, some freeze, while other automatically put up resistance. It is important that the kidnapped victim(s) gain control over their emotions as rapidly as possible so that they can react in ways that are calculated and rational and that are designed to increase their chances of survival. Kidnappers are generally well armed and thoroughly trained for the type of attack that they are undertaking. The also are under a great deal of stress which may cause them to react violently or with overwhelming force to the slightest sign of resistance. It is therefore essential for survival that individuals know how to react.
Many "at risk" corporations know very little about the subject of kidnapping and, more importantly, what actually happens before, during, and after a kidnapping takes place. The Globe Risk Institute has prepared six separate programs to address this corporate weakness.
- Kidnap and Ransom, "The Process"
- Kidnap and Ransom Survival
- Kidnap Prevention
- Kidnap and Ransom Policies and Procedures
- Kidnap and Ransom Negotiation
- Third World Kidnapping
This program explains what steps a kidnap victim(s) must take in order to survive a kidnapping event and being held incommunicado for a long period of time.
The Globe Risk Institute can design and deliver client specific programs and training as requested and, once delivered, the programs will serve as a valuable instructional tool for all corporations and employees.
